LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT SPECIFICATION SHEET
Specification Call Out: MARATHON III SOD/SEED
Technical Data |
|
|
 |
 |
|
Common Name:
Marathon® III
Species:
Dwarf Tall Fescue
Festuca Arundinacea
Varieties:
ShortcutTM
Description:
Marathon III is our most advanced dwarf tall fescue. It represents the latest release in a fifteen year progression of breeding development. Marathon III is denser, darker green, finer leafed and slower growing than previous generations. It can be mowed shorter resulting in a more compact carpet-like appearance. Its slower growth rate results in significantly lower clipping yield which, in turn, lowers disposal volume. Mowing frequency may also be reduced, particularly during cooler seasons. Marathon III contains "Shortcut" which is our proprietary variety developed through a cooperative research program.
Guarantee:
Marathon III Sod carries one year free replacement guarantee contingent upon proper installation and minimum level of maintenance. |
